Hello, and thank you so much for visiting my website! My name is Alana, I am a photographer from the Chicagoland area who loves to bring fun and imaginative ideas to life on camera. I take pride in not limiting creativity to a single genre. Fantastic imagery is everywhere! Sometimes you stumble into it, and sometimes when you let your imagination run wild, you can create it with your own hands. I notice unique qualities of so many details in everyday life, but I've found that my biggest passion is people and portraits. From weddings, to headshots, to family pictures, to my own conceptual portrait work, connecting with people and capturing the human spirit in its most vibrant and meaningful form is a thrilling experience. To get to be a part of the biggest days of people's lives, their journey of finding a life changing career opportunity, simply enjoying an afternoon with people who love each other, or watching someone see who they are from a different perspective and look at their image with kind eyes is such a deep honor.
Photography has been a massive part of my life for almost ten years now. I started playing with my mom's little digital camera that she kept in her purse when I was around 14, and now have completed my Bachelor's Degree in commercial photography and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Columbia College Chicago, and am dedicating my career to it. Pursuing this incredible art form has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and nothing has been more rewarding than making my clients truly happy, and building a portfolio that I am immensely proud of.
